Casa Cavala is so close to the sea that you can constantly hear the waves breaking. The fishermen who built this house slightly further up in the old village really appreciated the panoramic valley views inland. A terrace with an outdoor barbecue and seating area can be found at the rear of the property, offering the perfect secluded shelter from the wind. There is also a garden on the second level below. Plenty of space to enjoy life outdoors together or to take some well-deserved time out alone.

Casa Cavala can accommodate up to four people. The two bedrooms are small and cosy, while the corner bench at the dining table with its comfy cushions forms the inviting centrepiece of the apartment. A narrow, straight staircase with curved steps reminiscent of the Algarve’s typical cliffs leads you to the upper floor.
Car-free zone: it takes just five minutes to walk from Casa Cavala along the footpaths and down the old village slope to reach the beach. The old village centre lies before you as you face the sea. Why not walk along the beach to get your bread rolls and have breakfast al fresco, accompanied by stunning views of the valley’s vegetation? A great idea, depending on the season!
